The “IAU–MEDYAPIM CINEMA AND FILM ACADEMY”, structured through the collaboration of ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY and one of the leading companies in Turkey’s cinema and television industry, MEDYAPIM, opens its doors to talented young individuals.
MEDYAPIM, which has produced highly popular and record-breaking TV series such as YASAK ELMA, UMUTSUZ EV KADINLARI, MİSAFİR, SADAKATSİZ, and DOKTORLAR, and ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY, which has achieved proud rankings for our country in measurements conducted by international ranking organizations, combine their strengths in this field to provide employment opportunities for the youth of our country.
Through training programs under three main categories—“Screenwriting”, “Directing”, and “Producing”—we invite associate degree and bachelor’s degree graduates as well as current associate and bachelor’s students who aspire to work in TV series and films that appeal not only to national but also international markets.
The training will be delivered for a total of 16 weeks (Total 100 hours) through hands-on practical sessions by faculty members of the Faculties of Communication and Fine Arts at ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY in the university studios, as well as by directors, screenwriters, and producers on MEDYAPIM sets.
Talented young individuals who wish to receive training at the academy can apply through pre-registration. Candidates who pass the preliminary selection conducted by the faculty members of Istanbul Aydın University’s Faculties of Communication and Fine Arts and MEDYAPIM representatives will begin their training in December.
While the academic training at the academy will be delivered by faculty members of Istanbul Aydın University’s Faculties of Communication and Fine Arts, the practical training will be provided by MEDYAPIM‘s directors, screenwriters, and producers.

* The age limit to participate in the training is 35.
Training registration fee: 27,000 TL.
The first 4 weeks of the training will be held at Istanbul Aydın University Florya Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 17:00–20:00. The remaining sessions will take place at the Medyapım Levent office and on their production sets..
